The ‘Kiss-In’ has already occurred, and of course, he ignored it as per the usual. Then the Pope went on the attack, decrying Spain’s growing secularism by erroneously comparing it to the politics and violence during the years leading up to the Spanish Civil War, while doing a neat sleigh-of-hand with the conclusion to the war: the rise of the dictator (and self-proclaimed defender of Catholocism) Francisco Franco.

I’ve never read a detailed history and analysis of the Spanish Civil War and why nationalists won, but the assistance of Hitler’s Luftwaffe was very important.

So CERN has created a little bang. Is there now a tiny universe expanding slowly out into our universe? How big will it be in a month? A year? Could this be the doom that the Aztecs warned us about? Will this new universe expand so far that it destroys our world in 2012? Will it eventually consume the entire cosmos? “You fools, you blew it all up.”
Or is CERN just being nice and saying the bang was a little-big, instead of a little little or barely there are all.
