  3. The collection of events at paranormal “hot spots” in that article is seriously lame, with one of the lamest leading the list:

    Edmund Sheffield – the first Baron Sheffield – died in the Adam & Eve pub after being struck by a butcher during a revolt against land enclosures in 1549. As he lay dying he cursed those who harm the innocent.

    The Maid’s Head Hotel in nearby Tombland was said in March to be visited by a spectre of an old woman who smells of lavender.

    I don’t think the two paragraphs are meant to be connected by anything but geography, but the first one doesn’t really make sense on its own as a paranormal event…
