  1. The Pregnant Nun ad proves to me that there’s no such thing as controversy, just free advertising. The ice cream makers knew the ad would generate heat, and it did, and then guess what? The BBC (and others), run the ad alongside the a news story that mentions the company.

  2. Is it bad that my cathcolic school training is beating the inside of my skull saying “The immaculate conception is the conception of Mary sans orignal sin NOT the virgin concepion!”?

    That said the rest of the ad is cute.

  3. I was sorely disappointed that The Irish Times doesn’t have a comments section.
    I rather fancied seeing some homeopaths’ heads exploding.
    Having said that, there must be high-powered water lines all over the Pacific Northwest. They seem to have a permanent case of teh damp.
