Okay, the dampness article was amusing. Is the Irish Times a real news sight or is it like the Onion?
The Pregnant Nun ad proves to me that there’s no such thing as controversy, just free advertising. The ice cream makers knew the ad would generate heat, and it did, and then guess what? The BBC (and others), run the ad alongside the a news story that mentions the company.
That Irish Times article is hilarious. I do wonder how many people might read it and take it seriously, though.
Is it bad that my cathcolic school training is beating the inside of my skull saying “The immaculate conception is the conception of Mary sans orignal sin NOT the virgin concepion!”?
That said the rest of the ad is cute.
It’s my impression is that the damp has been an issue of concern in GB and Ireland since the Bronze Age. And to think its been homeopathy all along!

I rather fancied seeing some homeopaths’ heads exploding.
