  1. Thank you for making me laugh :)

    I was getting a rage induced headache do to the anti-vax crap Billy Corgan is spewing out all over Twitter today.

  2. ok, that is funny (she says after waiting for a full 20 seconds for pictures to load before deciding to just read the caption while she waits).

    @Cassandra:
    I’m a graduate student in a Special Education program. Yesterday, when an overview of the disability categories brought up autism and what is known about its causes, my professor made a point of pausing to say that vaccines have nothing to do with it, that the guy that started this whole fiasco fudged his data, and the whole thing has been thoroughly debunked no matter what Jenny says. She pointed out that lack of vaccination has greatly increased incidence of childhood illnesses and that the supposedly guilty ingredient isn’t even in vaccines any more, and hasn’t been for some time.
    Feel better?

  3. @marilove: I tried many times from home… Nada. Tried from work and it popped right up. Verizon FIOS in both locations (next town over, so a different CO.) ??!!??

  4. @Buzz Parsec: Oops. Wrong thread :-( I was talking about the video in the “Why we vaccinate Part 2” post. I did get the homeopathy joke in under 10 seconds. Swear to God. Would I lie? Yeah, that’s the ticket.

  5. No, no, no

    Comics are funny, therefore (sic) diluted comics will protect you from laughter.

    or something…

  6. I’m glad I’m not the only one. I assumed it was an rss fail and so I came over the site. No dice, so I linked to the blog.
    I think I may be failing as a skeptic. surely reviewing all evidence before trying the less likely alternatives would have been the way to handle it.
    sigh.

  7. I know this comic is funny, because I’ve seen it induce laughter. I have a friend who was bored and looked at this comic and it made him laugh. If the comic weren’t funny, why would so many people be viewing it and saying it is?

    I’m sick of these nay-sayers from Big Comedy claiming that only what they say is funny qualifies. Western comedy is really just an ennui machine.
