- Bring down big floss, practice alternative dentistry!
- Any year that starts with a Cute Animal Friday has to be a good one, right? Got some wrapping paper laying around from the holidays? Here’s how to wrap your cat, from nowoo. I hear an assortment of small mammals with snowmen is a good way to bring in the new year.
Wow…they really can’t think of a human explanation for these snow circles. Whoever made them did a good job though. I want to make some crop circles or snow circles now…
Snow circles – so much crazy. “She couldn’t hear the choir of angels, only I could”. That’s a sign of something, right there.
I loved the dentist article too. There were even some denialists in the comments, to top it off.
I love the idea that aliens came all the way from omicron persei 8 just to play in the snow
@magicdude20: Don’t be silly! They come from Mercury, where it’s hot all day! A reverse snowbird, if you will.
I admire the guy who got his cat to sit still for wrapping. Mine like to “help” me wrap things, but would shred me and the paper if I tried to wrap them up. We just tried, once again, to get Izzi to wear a collar -we promised the kitten rescue people that she would wear her tag, so we keep trying. It took her less than five minutes to unlatch and discard it. DO NOT LIEK DIS KOLLER!
I agree with mrthumbtack. The “woo factor” behind the snow circles is nothing more than a want of imagination.
Oh my god, the kitty wrapping, so funny…what kind of drugs is that cat on to be so tolerant? If I tried it with Zen I’d be typing this comment with my nose right now.
On it costing more to be a woman, it sounds like a classic case of price discrimination. Retailers are betting that women are less price-sensitive than men with regard to these products, and it seems the bet is paying off.
The Wikipedia article even has some gender-based examples.
Just the other day I was wondering about women being charged more for feminine versions of products. I’m glad I’m not the only one.
On the flip side, I remember once I went to get my hair trimmed and asked if I could get it straightened (it’s long) and I was refused service for no other reason than because I’m a he and not a she. What the christ is that about? The hair stylist was even female.
