As many of you know, @Tim3P0 and I are making our way to the west coast and (hopefully) warmer weather. So far, we’ve made it as far as northern Texas, and still haven’t shaken the snow. We’re beginning to think it’s following us. Don’t worry, we’ll do our best to outrun it before we get to California.
Anyway, we’ll be in California for a little while, and would love to hang out with as many of you as possible. You’ll have three chances to do so:
January 2: Special Pub Night, Newport Beach
Friend of Skepchick Richard Saunders is visiting all the way from the other side of the world, and Brian Dunning is throwing a party for the occasion at 7pm at Muldoon’s Irish Pub, 202 Newport Center Dr.
3 Skepchicks will be in attendance: Surly Amy, ARealGirl, and me.
January 4: Drinking Skepchickally, San Diego
Join us at 7pm at the Aero Club, 3365 India St, to hang out with me and fellow Skepchicks ARealGirl & Surly Amy, and to celebrate Skepspouse Tim3P0‘s 30th birthday.
January 7: Bay Area Skeptics Presentation, Berkeley
Psychologist Dr Scott Lilienfeld will discuss intuition.
7pm, Cafe Valparaiso, La Pena Cultural Center, 3105 Shattuck Ave.
Enjoy the talk and join me and fellow Skepchick Karen Stollznow afterward for a drink or two.
