Skepchicamp on eBay

I know there was just a Skepchicamp post earlier, but you can handle one more, right?

We’re open for business on eBay!

In an effort to raise money for Skepchicamp Chicago, Elyse has asked me to be the official Skepchicamp eBay auctioneer. People are donating their goods to be sold via eBay, and the funds from there are being used towards making Skepchicamp THE AWESOMEST THING EVAR.

As of last night, I have our first 4 auctions listed. Each auction so far is an autographed, B&W photograph of Elyse baring her soul (read: chest) while wearing a DNA necktie, paired with an official SurlyRamics necklace. There are 11 Surlies in all to auction off with 11 booby pictures and the starting bid is $20.

Our list of auctions can be found here, and will be growing. Come and bid on items for a great cause! Or, if nothing else… BOOBS AND SURLIES!

  1. I am a big fan of Skepchick, and an even bigger fan of Boobs. However ebay and I aren’t getting along right now. Is there any other way I can make a donation? (and score a pic!).

  2. @dmac:

I bet we could figure out a way to auction off some pics alone… maybe even do a blog auction?

I’m sending Chelsea extras, so it’s totally feasible.

  3. Something tells me Gabriel is buying and iPhone, downloading an app, and sniping the eBay auctions for the pics. That’s just an educated guess.
