AI: Future Perfect

First the bad news: there won’t be a 2010 Skepchick or Skepdude calendar. I know, I know. My apologies to all of you who were hoping for some sexy skeptical goodness for Xmas this year. But, that’s only because we want things to be bigger and better next year. So, with that in mind, here’s my question to you today:

What sort of things should Skepchick do bigger and better in 2010?

The Afternoon Inquisition (or AI) is a question posed to you, the Skepchick community. Look for it to appear daily at 3pm ET.

  1. @Gabrielbrawley: I feel like “Find the Boobies” is too easy. They’re in a pretty consistent place and protrude enough to be visible in most attire.

A real challenge could be “Sniff Out the Substitute,” springboarding from Maria’s post earlier.

[Really, I hope that that wouldn’t be a challenge either.]

  2. A mobile-formatted version of skepchick.
    More Skepchicks to heart on.
Maybe some reviews of various attrocious tv programs, books etc.

Still waiting on my prize for winning that Darwin Song Contest, Elyse. ;-)

  3. @Ashley.Ele: There is a mobile version. My iPhone defaults to it whenever I visit. It looks great and works fine.

Sympathies if your inferior “smart” phone can’t work it out. ;)

(I’m only teasing about the phone, it’s obligatory – it’s in the EULA somewhere that we have to be arrogant about iPhone ownership)

  4. @ zapski: I’ll let you slide on that because your idea of soul soup is wonderful. Still floating in my head months later and helped me get through some rough spots.

To be honest, I’ve been having the “maybe we should breakup” talk with my blackberry for awhile. Notice my inability to use the respond buttons.

  5. I pretty much agree with everyone else, I’d love a calander, more podcasts, more events (Milwaukee would be nice), maybe an official skepchick cafepress store. I also loved the youtube posts of Rebecca answering her “hate” mail, absolutly loved those. I’d a few posts about touring skeptick events, speakers, as well as a skepchick city “tour guide” e.g. suggestions on nerdy/intillectual things to do on vacation.
