Philly skeptics! This coming weekend, our city is playing host to the lovely Maria and I want you to help me show her a good time. Come out this Saturday for Drinking SkepCHICKally! Here’s the scoop:

Why: Um. Because it’s an awesome idea?
For those who don’t know, Cantina dos Segundos is in Northern Liberties and is a happenin’ little Mexican restaurant with full bar. Here’s the site, with separate food and drink menus. The restaurant is located on 2nd (duh, segundos) between Spring Garden and Girard, after Poplar. Also hanging out with the crew is Skepchick commenter K.O. Myers, founder of Grassroots Skeptics!
It’s the weekend before Halloween, so start your drunken debauchery a little early this year at a special edition of Drinking SkepCHICKally!
YAY! I will be attending. The New Wave margarita there is a lip-smacker!

Wish I could be there! I live in Colorado now, but Philly is an awesome place. Some of my best memories (such as protesting the RNC in 2000) are wrapped up in that place.

Also, I have a question as to age restrictions. Do you have to be 21 to attend?
@Sydust: Awww, poo! Well have fun at your Halloween party! I don’t think there are age restrictions because it’s a restaurant with a bar. Worst case scenario, they could start carding after a certain time but by the time they start doing that we’ll have been there a couple hours. :)
I have a wedding to attend earlier in the day, but I hope to catch up with all of you around 8.
We’ll be just a few short feet from Tony Danza’s condo…as if you needed another reason to drink.
@Chelsea: Well if you guys do it again, I’ll be there (hopefully). I’m only 17 though, and I wanted to make sure I didn’t take the train in and then have to go all the way home because they wouldn’t let me in. Thanks!
