Reminder: Houston Skeptics in the Pub Tonight

Lately I’ve been such a slacker when it comes to my duties as assistant organizer of the Houston area skeptics that our lead skeptic, Naomi (Geek Goddess), threatened to brain me. At first I thought that would be kind of cool, but then realized “to brain” does not mean to endow brains upon.

At any rate, to save face (and my skull), I want to remind everyone that tonight is the monthly Skeptics in the Pub for Houston area skeptics; and really for anyone who wants to come. We don’t discriminate.

So if your liver is not as hard as a rock, and if you have any brain cells left from the holiday weekend, stop by Ernie’s on Banks in the Museum District (1010 Banks Street in Houston) at around 7:00pm , and we’ll be sure any survivors are wiped out. We’ll be upstairs.

Hope to see you there.

And be on the lookout for a special meeting of the Houston area skeptics coming up in a couple weeks.

  1. Hey fellow Texan,

Do you know of a meetup in Austin? It seems like there ought to be one, but I’ve had the hardest time finding it.

  2. Damn it! I’m working a 13 hour shift today, so I won’t be able to make it.

Why do we advertise early, Sam? So people don’t volunteer to fill in for someone with child care issues.
