Skepchick Plan Camp

As I announced last week, Chicago is the Chosen Destinationâ„¢ of the very first Skepchicamp. Lots of people have contacted me asking how they can help, what they can do, and whether I want to order Cialis  online. I’ve been telling them one of two things: come to the first planning meeting (or contact me after for the details of the meeting) and that I’m going to need a receipt to claim the purchase against my flexible spending account.

If you’re interested in Skepchicamp, I have some updates. If you’re interested in my 4-hour erection, sorry, no news.

Skepchicamp now has it’s own Official Website at http://skepchicamp.com. It’s so official it was designed and art-ified by real live Skepchicks Jen, Amy and Jill! It pretty much rocks.

If you like to be kept in the loop, but can’t read for more than 3 seconds at a time, try following Skepchicamp on Twitter! Its everything you need to know about Skepchicamp but quicker, dirtier, and easier.*

Now, for all of you wanting to know what you can do to help, the very first thing you can do is show up at the very first planning meeting. We’ll be meeting at our usual watering hole, The Galway Arms, conveniently located in Lincoln Park. I’m working on implementing a Google calendar to the Skepchicamp site, but until then (and after), I’ll be submitting our meetings to the Skepchick calendar. To come to the planning meeting, just show up!

When: Saturday, October 3

What time: 1:30Pm

Where: Galway Arms 2442 N Clark, Chicago.

As always, street parking is available, but limited, and the Children’s Memorial Hospital parking garage (2515 N Clark) is $13 all weekend.

See you there!

(If you can’t make it to Galway Arms, but still want to help, please contact me at elyse[at]skepchicamp[dot]com. I should be able to Skype a few people in to the meeting.)

*No, not “just like a Skepchick”.
