  1. When you leap… sorry, I mean, when you “jump” into an alternate universe, do you sometimes enter the body of a person who is the opposite gender? Those were always my favorite episodes of that show… Damn, the name of the show escapes me, but the lead actor went on to play a starship captain in some show called Space Trek, or Star Journey, or whatever…

  2. I want to jump into a parallel universe where I’ve won the lottery, and we’ve found the solution to world peace, and also unicorns exist.

    Sign me up!

  3. Wait — Quantum Jumping can’t be about Sam Beckett’s String theory – Quantum Leap, because he only went Backwards in time, not forwards.

I did see something similar once, I think it was called ‘Sliders’ Now what can I learn from those other version of myself. — Oh yeah watch out for the Cromags.

  4. @jsg: I just finished watching all 88 episodes of ‘Sliders’. I think the best info I got from it is that my alternate selves probably use the same ATM PIN.

  5. @Steve:

So clean out their accounts, take the cash, and hope the denominations still work as viable currency after the next Slide.

In my case, I could only hope that my alternate selves are more financially successful.

  6. I’m pretty sure most of my alternate selves are evil, and have beards.

    Wait a minute…. I have a beard.

Could I be the evil me?

  7. No, there’s no duplicates. On Friday, we all quantum jumped to today, so we already knew in advance that you were going to post an article on whether celebrities die in 3s.

  8. @Berlzebub: I think the best strategy would be to clean out the bank account and use the money to buy something you can sell/pawn on the next world.

  9. @Jen: What peregrine said.

I think the werewolf is interesting but it makes me think of the crazies who beleive the world is controlled by reptillian/human hybrids. If people can believe in lizard men I’m sure they can believe in wolf men.
