  1. I bet Denise Hall was wearing a tinfoil hat. Fact: there are no confirmed cases of a psychic successfully reading the mind of a person wearing a tinfoil hat.

  2. “Molesting children isn’t enough to get a priest kicked out
of the priesthood. However, a priest having consensual sex with an adult he’s in love is a “scandal”.”

THIS!! I was thinking the same thing during the whole debacle.

Molest a child? We’ll just move you to a secret place, but you’re not kicked out of the church!

Have sex with a consenting adult women? You’re out!

    What the fuck?

  3. No, I definitely don’t have the “right stuff” to lie there for days on end. Drug me and wake me up when we get to Mars orbit, please! :-D

  4. @tiger kitty: No comment…

I’m still doubtful that they’re really achieving 1/6 gravity effect on the body. If you’re living and working on the moon, you’re going to be moving around a lot, not lying still.

  5. @marilove: “What the fuck?”

I would think “what” is not an issue either, just “who” you fuck. I wonder if fucking western civilization for two millennia counts as a who or what ??

  6. Padre Alberto became a “scandal” because of the large Hispanic / conservative audience he had (he was a popular TV host).

Several reporters and paparazzi quickly cried foul – the photos, it seems, were staged. Now the fight is apparently focusing on the revenues lost in TV.

  7. *cough* And to comment on the case:
Does anyone but me find that it seems like churches like to make a big deal about the small things and ignore the bigger ones?

This case, where the Catholic church obsesses over a priest having sex with an adult woman and ignores priests who molest children; the case in Brazil with the girl that needed an abortion and her mother was excommunicated while they ignored the guy that raped her etc…

  8. Favalora also had harsh words for the Episcopal Church’s decision to accept Cutie.
“This truly is a serious setback for ecumenical relations and cooperation between us,” he said.

Fight behind behind the bleachers after school!

    FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
