as per the hidden religious agenda article, the flags he was offering didn’t seem very hidden to me. Perhaps, the article was meant for the slightly less skeptically active mind.
I frequently drive past a larger cross on the way to St. Louis. I can’t say it bothers me. It would if it were publicly funded, but it isn’t. I also don’t see the point. It’s not like I drive past it and say to myself, “now I believe!” Someone made a huge as cross, it must be true!

I’m eager to see what will happen to that 170′ cross this hurricane season, and what “reasons” people will come up with when it topples.
@Briarking: If that cross ever falls down it’s because God knocked it over to keep the Feds off his trail. God knows He’s looking at billions of back to back life sentences if He ever gets caught, so sometimes He muddies the trail by knocking over His own buildings. It keeps everyone guessing.

Those crosses might look big, but they’re downright miniscule compared to the vast empty spaces we atheists have not filled with statues in testament to the utter non-existence of God! Neener, neener, neener!
