I like how they even provide the ‘out’ if the girl did die, the angel was coming to take her to heaven, but what I really would like to know, if the angel healed her, why didn’t he finish the job, surely an angel could take away all of her infirmities, not just those that her immune system could handle.

I live only 15 miles from Hell, MI and about 300 miles from Paradise, MI. Nice to see the Tree Lobsters reference something so close to home. I wonder if the restaurant, The Dam Site Inn in Hell has Tree Lobsters on the menu. I’m quite certain Tree Lobsters are not served in Paradise.

I got my 10-year-old a DIY genetic engineering kit! I wonder if it’s the same one. I have a lovely picture of her holding it up, right in front of the Christmas tree. Apparently you can use it to extract DNA from fruit; how cool is that? I bought it at Hobby Lobby, which seemed richly ironic to me, as that store is like a front for fundamentalist Christians, I think.

The “angel” was obviously just a lens flare from the sunlight reflecting off of the equipment and waxed tile floor. I’ll bet the rest of the frames (that they didn’t show us) look nothing like an angel. Sensationalism and the unusual sell papers/web hits.
I can’t completely agree with the Canadian Skeptic about Christmas and ghosts – after all, Dicken’s A Christmas Carol had three in it. :-) It’s not that far a stretch to have a Christmas ‘supernatural’ visitation.
