The Amazing One-Word Comment o’ the Week!

It’s Friday, and you all know what that means: Comment o’ the Week! And a very special one at that, since it happens to be one of the best holidays invents: Halloween! I hope you’re all dressing as something appropriately clever, skeptical, or nerdy tonight. If so, you have the chance to win the Skepchick costume contest, you smart cookie. But for those of you in Chicago, don’t stay out too late drinking, since you’ll have to go meet Elyse and Elles for lunch on Saturday. Those of you in Boston should join me and my friends as we do some drinking along Boylston Street! Details here.

Anyway, this week’s Comment o’ the Week winner was one of the first responses to Sam’s Afternoon Inquisition question of what your first words might be after you become the first person to walk on Mars:

“Dibs!”

Nicely done, Atom! And particularly good for your very first comment on Skepchick. Welcome! Your prize: all the candy you can eat! To collect your prize, don a costume and wander the streets with a pillowcase, asking strangers to give you some sugar.

Happy Halloween everyone!
