New Teen Skepchicks! And Things of Lesser Importance.

Hey, guess what? We’ve added not one but TWO new bloggers to Teen Skepchick! I’ve updated the Who’s Who and Katherine has just posted her Howdy!

Also, I just sent out a newsletter update to our Northeast Skepchick readers. Want to be notified of fun events and Skepchick news? Make sure you sign up using the little form on the left side of the page. Right over there. See it? It used to be on the right side. I might move it again, but I’m still waiting to hear back from the Feng Shui experts, all of whom have different advice and some of whom want me to take the form off completely and just build a small pyramid of stones under my bed. Can you believe people believe that crap?

Also: I noticed a lot of people talking in that other thread, about how cool Steve Novella is, so I thought I’d leave you with this picture showing what my pod-mates do when we’re not podcasting. Bob actually has that “low frequency” shirt and Jay actually is black.

  1. That’s a hilarious comic! I love it.

Oh FYI, a large amount of what we chatted about is going to be in the Skepchick comic. I couldn’t let such good material go to waste.

  2. Okay, signed up. I think Virginia is Southern US, right? The town I live in feels more like SoCal sometimes.

Darn, I’m going to be in NYC just days after the Lori Lipman Brown talk. Doo doo.

  3. Awesome comic! (ROFLMAO) It reminds me of the old gaming shop in Norfolk; Campaign Headquarters, before it finally closed down last January after the last owners ran it into the ground.

  4. I have, at certain points in my life, been a geek girlfriend/wife, so I can vouch for the fact that it is actually possible.

Definitely not the norm, though. ;)
