Skepticism

Skepchick Quickies, 2.20

  • The Million Fag March – Since there’s been some Westboro Church discussion lately, here’s some info on a peaceful protest against Phelps and his brethren. • Irreligion Book Review – A mathematician (John Allen Paulos) explains why the arguments for god just don’t add up.
  • Atheist Sees Image of Big Bang in Slice of Toast – “Ever since news of the discovery made national headlines, local hoteliers have been overwhelmed by an influx of atheists from all over the country who have flocked to Huddlesfield to catch a glimpse of the scientific relic.”
  • More on Antivaccinationist Misinformation – The American Association of Pediatrics is launching an awareness campaign about vaccination, and Terra Sigillata provides some worthwhile commentary.
