Be Somebody, or be Somebody’s Fool

Hey, what’s that behind you? Is that a spider? Oh, ha ha ha, April Fool!

Okay, got that out of the way.

You know what April Fool’s Day is? Amateur night. The real con artists are at it 365 days a year. Like Sylvia Browne.

Anyway . . . I’m happy to announce that this week’s Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe is now out. You can download it on iTunes or from the New England Skeptical Society’s site. I am now on there as a regular weekly guest. I had a lot of technical issues, and I still have a lot of technical issues — and I guess I just have a lot of issues in general — but I still had a lot of fun, and I hope it shows. It’ll only get better from here on out, as production gets slicker, the podcast site gets an overhaul, and our listener base increases.

Also, just a note on the past month: we’re getting a ton of traffic here to the blog, over on the forum, and of course on the magazine. We’ve had a lot of people subscribe to the blog (including a bunch yesterday — no comments, tons of sign-ups. Go figure). Thanks to everyone for linking back here from your own blogs and for spreading the word in general — it’s really helping.

That’s all for today — you have enough homework with the new podcast.
